HONEY LEMON
HERB TEA

THE COLD REMEDY

Serving # 1
2 sage leaves
Small sprig rosemary
2 slices lemon, + 1 for serving
1¼ cups boiling water
1 to 2 teaspoons honey
Process

1) Lightly crush the sage with rosemary & 2 lemon slices. Add boiling water & stir in the honey & steep for 2 minutes
2) Strain & add a fresh slice of lemon

HONEY DATE & LINSEED
SMOOTHIE

THE CONSTIPATION REMEDY

Serving # 1
2 cups of reduced fat milk
2 dates, pitted & roughly chopped
½ tsp of linseed oil
1 – 2 tablespoons of honey
Linseeds or pumpkin seeds, toasted & chopped
Process

1) In a blender or food processor, blend the milk with the dates, linseed oil, & honey
2) Pour into a glass and top with the linseeds or pumpkin seeds

Serving # 1
2 eggs raw
1¼ cups of orange juice
1 tbsp honey
Process

1) Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend to combine
2) Drink immediately

THE INSOMNIA REMEDY

Serving # 1
2 tsp honey
⅔ cup of boiling water
2 tbsp whisky
1 cinnamon stick
1 thick slice of lemon
Fresh grated nutmeg
Process

1) Stir honey into the boiling water until it dissolves
2) Add the whisky and cinnamon stick
3) Leave for 2 – 3 minutes, then remove the cinnamon stick and the lemon slice. Sprinkle with a little freshly grated nutmeg and serve

THE SORETHROAT REMEDY

Serving # 1
1 tbsp cider vinegar
1 tsp lemon juice
1 - 2 tbsp honey
⅔ cup of hot water
Process

1) Stir the vinegar, lemon juice, and honey into the hot water
2) Stir until the honey is melted
3) Either sip or use a gargle

HONEY, THYME
& LICORICE

THE COUGH REMEDY

Serving # 1
2 tbsp licorice root, peeled & shredded
1 tbsp dried thyme
1 cup honey
Process

1) Put the liquorice root in a saucepan, add 2 cups water, and stir over medium heat to boil.
2) Cover and simmer gently for 20 minutes
3) Remove the pan from the heat, add the thyme, and stir
4) Replace the lid and let infuse for 20 minutes
5) Strain the mixture and return to heat. Once warm, add the honey. Stir then simmer for a few minutes until mixture is a syrupy.
6) Turn off the heat and let it cool.

CINNAMON GREEN
TEA

THE MORNING KICKSTARTER

Serving # 1
1 green tea bag
Boiling water
1 to 2 tsp honey
1 cinnamon stick
Process

1) Brew a cup of green tea & while still hot, stir in the honey
2) Let steep for 2 minutes, add a cinnamon stick & stir gently till honey dissolved.
3) Leave cinnamon stick in the tea to impart its flavour

THE REMEDY FOR BACKPAIN

Serving # 1
½ cup of balsam fir essential oil
2 tbsp rosemary essential oil
2 tbsp bay leaf essential oil
4 ½ oz beeswax
Process

1) In a medium saucepan over low heat, stir the essential oils together and add beeswax.
2) Heat gently, stirring, for about 5 minutes until wax has melted
3) Pour liquid salve carefully into clean jar and let cool

Process

1) Add honey to the water and stir until dissolved
2) Add cinnamon and stir again

1 apple, peeled, halved & cored
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tsp honey
1 herbal tea bag
Boiling water
Process

1) Slice the apple thinly into a mug
2) Add vinegar, honey and tea bag
3) Top up with boiling water
4) Steep for 1 minute, then remove the tea bag

EGGNOG
HONEY

THE TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS DRINK

Serving # 4
2 large eggs, separated
2 tbsp superfine sugar
3 tbsp honey
¾ cup of whole milk
¾ cup of whole milk
⅓ cup of dark rum
¾ cup of heavy cream
½ tsp grated nutmeg
Process

1) Whisk egg yolks with fine sugar until pale & light
2) Add honey and whisk again until fluffy
3) Stir the milk in a pitcher with rum
4) Gradually whisk the liquid into the egg yolk mixture
5) Whisk the egg whites until stiffs peaks form, then fold them into the egg yolk mixture
6) Whisk the cream until soft peaks form, then fold in into the egg mixture
7) Spoon the eggnog, top with nutmeg, and serve immediately

HONEY MINT
JULEP

THE CLASSIC SOUTHERN COCKTAIL

Serving # 2
¼ cup of honey
2 tbsp of boiling water
6 sprigs of fresh mint
Crushed ice
¼ cup of bourbon
Club soda
Process

1) Stir the honey in boiled water until dissolved
2) Crush the mint leaves into the syrup. Leave it to cool
3) Strain the syrup with a pitcher
4) Add crushed ice & pour 2tbsp of bourbon with 2 tbsp of syrup
5) Fill up with soda and add mint sprig as garnish

HOT HONEY
CIDER

THE PERFECT HALLOWEEN BEVERAGE

Serving # 4½
4¼ cup of apple cider
1 orange
10 whole cloves
2 tbsp honey
1 star anise
2 cinnamon sticks
Process

1) Pour cider into saucepan, stud the orange with cloves, and add it to the pan, along with the honey, star anise, and cinnamon sticks. Stir, warm gently over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring once or twice
2) Place 2 apple rings in the bottom of each heatproof glass
3) Remove the orange from the pan and cut it in half; squeeze the juice from 1 half into the cider
4) Strain the cider over the apple slices and serve

THE ELEGANT SUMMER DRINK

Serving # 4
6 earl grey tea bags
6 cups of boiling water
3 tbsp of honey
6 sprigs fresh mint
2 peaches, pitted & sliced
2 cup of peach / grapefruit juice
Process

1) Place tea bags in a large pitcher with boiling water. Add honey & stir until dissolved. Add 3 sprigs of mint leaves. Steep for 10 minutes, follow by strain, cool, and chill
2) Add ice & peach in the pitcher. Pour chilled tea and the fruit juice over. Stir well and add the remaining mint

SPICED HONEY
COFFEE

Serving # 2
2 tbsp of light honey
1 tsp of ground cinnamon
½ tsp of ground cardamom
½ tsp of vanilla extract
1¼ cups of steamed whole milk
2 shots of espresso
2 cinnamon sticks
Process

1) 1 tbsp of honey for each espresso & swirl
2) Whisk the ground cinnamon, vanilla , & cardamom with the milk
3) Add the milk into each espresso & stir it with the cinnamon stick
